Darren Welch (Team Manager)
Darren aims to be to Team Brunetti what Bjarne Riss has been to his Teams CSC and Saxo Bank (minus the doping scandals!!). A Sports Science graduate and professional Darren has previously worked with high performance sports teams both in Australia and abroad. However his passion is recreational road cycling, he is inspired to promote and support others to experience the fun, fitness and health he derives from cycling.
Darren also is passionate about Italy, so much so he has a company that specialises in cycling in Italy.
Carla Angele
Carla is Team Brunetti Prima Donna (Female leader). As with Darren, Carla is a Sports Science graduate and derives great enjoyment and satisfaction from recreational cycling activity. Carla is also of the same Angele family that owns and operates Brunetti Cakes, thus giving members a more personal connection to one of Melbourne's most iconic places of authentic Italian culture.
